    Correct Wording for Search Results

I am greenhorn please bear with me.

When searching for my site you would use 4 main words:
    -stamford
    -furnished
    -apartments
    -CT

Depending on placement of words and/or a comma different search results, as follows:

-stamford furnished apartments page 1, spot 1
-stamford, ct furnished apartments page 4, spot 4
-furnished apartments stamford page 1, spot 7
-furnished apartments stamford ct page 3, spot 7
-furnished apartments stamford, ct page 3, spot 7

I'm presuming it has to do with wording in source code but am not sure.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks

If you build links for your website, containing those terms as anchors, perhaps for all the variations your website would receive traffic. You are also suggested to use tools like Google AdWords and Wordtracker to find what real terms people are using when they access Google and begin accessing websites containing those words. Usually one term is found to be the top and competitive one.

that's right, but since google crawled text by word and not by phrase... having those kws on your site can really help if someone searched your targeted kws..

I agree with bogs. Have you tried to shorten your keywords? At least make it 2 worded keyword. Why not make it Stamford Apartments?
