Thumbs up Content indexing in 40 minutes - record?

Hi guys,

This post is a mixture of boasting + your experience.

I got my hands on blogs recently (before other people have been doing that for me) and after a while of regular posts combined with pinging I came to the stage when any new content is indexed from my blog by Google within 40 minutes.

After the boasting is over, I want to hear what you (who have been successfully blogging for a long time) can say about this and if it is possible to get the situation even better. For me this topic is quite fresh and any feedback is welcome.

THANKS FOR THE POSTS!

Now I have a new record to beat But I also got another fuzzy question about the blog.

Strange Indexing!

- when I type info:www.my-blog-name.com Google shows July 30, 2007
- when I click "Show Google's cache of www.my-blog-name.com..." the cache is dated Aug 10
- and when I type any content from the blog - it is indexed as I said within 40 minutes

WHY?

Answer is simple - they are showing different results from different Datacenter.

I had a page index inside of 10 minutes the other day. I copied and pasted in a press release and publisehed it and by the time I had put in a second press release and looked in google for something else related I found the first Article was there. Had to check it twice because I couldn't believe what I saw.

Its a wordpress based blog and google loves it.

Damn that's fricking quick. I had no idea bloggers get indexed so quick. My website's a forum, so I end up submitting the posts into digg and it's crawled in about 24 hrs. If I relied on google, without submitting to digg, it takes much longer...

I understand, but one puzzle is not fitting into the picture.

I mean why official Google cache and desription for "info:" command are showing different data. I thought the are the same 'official last time the mighty G cached info from your site'
