But what is best SEO wise?
Should I go for the .com domain or a domain with another tld?

Go for .com domain if ur target audience are not from a particular geographic location(s). Otherwise go for country specific TLD. Google treats all domains the same.So SEO wise no domain is best or worst.

Get the .net. Even though its not proven and is actually doubted, I've had more trouble with .info domains than .net. org. .com or any other countries TLD. I seem to think google considers .info domains as spammy and it can make ranking them a bit more difficult. What other domains sell for $1.99?
A hyphen is never pretty to look at and sure sucks for word of mouth and or type in advertising/traffic.
I'd say go with a branded domain if the .com is gone in many cases, but since you're new or semi-new to SEO, having your KW in the domain gives you a little boost worth going after IMHO.

Ok that sounds great. I had just heard that .info was not very good if you wanted to get top ranking on google

Matt Cutts has clearly said in one interview that "Google treats all domains the same". So obviously .info is no exception
However Problem with .info is that, it is hard to get back links for such type of domains as they are generally used for spamming purpose
.com domains are the best as people when confused with the TLD, always think of .com first. Even browsers like firefox and IE support .com domain. You type the name on the address bar like myspace and then press Ctrl+Enter. The name will automatically get converted into the adress with .com TLD.

I have a mixture and I don't notice any better performance out of a .com, however if you use a country specific domain you might get relegated to country specific search results!

Every time I chose a domain name for myself, or for a client, I recommend they get the .com and the .co.uk on the sole basis that if you mention a company name in passing "my company" there may be a chance they goto the .com instead of the one they own (.co.uk) or vise versa.
I've seen it happen, and it draws the customer away from your product site straight away.

For SEO purpose , all domains are same as you choosed but i will recommend , using a .com domain if you are not concentrating in regional markets and also without using hyphen. Although using a hyphen is not a bad thing if you are ranking better.
