    Changing Ownership Registration Problematic?

Question: One of the owners of a site I manage wants to change servers and change the ownership registration information for the site. Is this at all problematic in terms of triggering Google to think that an old domain has been purchased?

I have read threads where people bought old domains as a way to avoid the sandbox, but after making changes to the old domain they ended up re-entering the sandbox. Is there any danger of that happening in this situation? Again, what we're looking at changing is the ownership registration and server. Other than that the site will not be changing. And effectively the ownership is not changing- only on the whois info will it be changing.

I think this should be okay but I want to check for others' opinions first. Thanks.

No problem. I have purchased sites with complete change in whois, moved to different registrar - in a different country, and onto a different hosting company with no drop in SERPs. (the hosting was in the USA throughout this time and that is where I've heard you need to be careful).
