    Question Changing File extensions

I'm going through a big redesign right now and I'd like more friendly URLs, but I'm worried about losing PR. Currently my pages look like

    www.domain.com/TitleOfPage.php
    www.domain.com/other_page.php

I'd like them to look like this:

    www.domain.com/title-of-page/
    www.domain.com/other-page/

but I think I'm going to go with:

    www.domain.com/TitleOfPage/
    www.domain.com/other_page/

I think not mucking around w/ the hyphens and underscores will confuse google less, but I'm not sure. I'm obviously making all the old pages 301 redirect to the new ones. I previously moved this site from .html pages to .php long ago and it didnt seem bad at all. I really hope I shouldn't leave the URLs alone completely. I'm also wondering that if dropping the .php extension is okay, then maybe i should rename everything w/ the hyphens since they will have to redirect anyhow. Lemme know what you think.

    Thanks

I would recommend keeping the page names the same..

unless you absolutely can't. Redirects are fine, if done correctly, but sometimes it takes the SE a while to update their listings.

Also, if you're going to rename pages, use hyphens instead of underscores.

You should consider submiting also the sitemap for faster indexing.

hyphens. If you use any type of separator it needs to be a dash. Either put it all together or use dashes.

Since I'm changing the urls anyways by dropping the extensions, is it a good idea to add in the hyphens since i'm changing the urls anyhow?
