    change of address

    Hi.
I have changed my site domain
    from "www.farafan-market.ir" to "www.farafan-market.com"
i have redirected all pages to new URL.

the site ranking in google has decreased and after a month now the site ranking didn't get better. we were the first google result in some keywords..
the site unique users according to google analytics decreased from 1400 to 500.

how long does it take to get back where we were? is there something that i can do to make it shorter?
is this because of backlinks? because backlinks are pointing to the old URL and new URL does not have any backlinks yet.
what checklist do you guys recommend to make sure there is not any errors? because i changed the template too.

and rating does not show up in SERPs.
there was an error in google markup in article page. although i have solved it, rating is not showing up in google search results yet. how long does it take for google to index pages and show stars again?

any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Whenever you change domain names it can take some time for search engines to catch up - sometimes several months in fact (if not longer in certain instances). How long ago did you make the change? This might be a good opportunity to reach out to sites where you previously had a link. Also, I'd be interested to know if the keywords you were ranking for were geo-specific in nature. Meaning, were you ranking in a specific locale and now you're not?

Did you just redirect all the old urls to the homepage of the new domain name, if this is what you did, then you have lost your rankings for your inner pages and you are starting over from scratch. So you have a long uphill battle to gain your rankings back.

The proper thing to do would have been to redirect each url to its' new url.

    Hi There,

Apart from redirecting the old urls to the corresponding new urls , I would recommend to create a new sitemap and upload it. Also add a new property in the Google Search console account with the new url and verify it.
