Can someone take a look at my site?

I'm quite new here to the SEO business and I'm still leaning the whole process, so please be patient with me. XD

My website is currently

and recently I had problems with the main keywords "houston acupuncture" and "acupuncture houston" because the ranking seem to be changing quite a bit lately. Sometimes I'm on page one and next day I'll be at the start of page two. I'm starting to doubt there might be some sort of problem with my site's design or coding that's making my rank to fluctuate so heavily.

I really appreciate if anyone take a moment to look at the site and point out any major mistake I made.

Another quick question. I'm about to add a wordpress blog onto the same webserver/domain. Will it have any effects of my rankings?

Somebody is going to tell you to lose the meta keywords...
I would try to make the title a little more catchy like:

Houston Acupuncture | Licensed PhD Acupuncturist 25 years experience

change the "home" links to http://www.acuherbxia.com/
change the footer links so that "home" is "Houston Acupuncture"
fix the www/non www issue

I'd also change the background to something a little lighter for starters...

I would expect a lot of well written content and not just the keywords on the homepage itself.. The formatting of content looks as if its only made for stuffing keywords.. No valueable content as of from visitors point view to help them in real..

I would recommend use of more yet good content on the website, and creation of more landing pages would help in this case.

Quantity and quality of links is quiet low as well.. you need more of those relevant backlinks for your website to excell in its niche..So basically, your website lacks both content and links..

But it has the domain age benefit... It has nice titles, but to compliment those, you would require backlinks..with the keywords in the anchors text used..

Once you do that, you may find the website uprising in its SERPS..

AS LKS mentioned you really need to more concern abut your content, right quality base content related to your services add some article pages. Get back link from your relevant website use anchor tag in your anchor tag.
Canonical issue sort out this by 301 redirect.

Thank you for all the replies. I'm actually doing this SEO for my dad who's running the clinic. All the information you see on the left navigation bar are original content written by himself. I'll be adding additional contents every once in a while (please note this stuff is highly philosophical and technical, so it is impossible to hire someone to write for the website but my dad). Since I'm new to this kind of stuff, is there any other way to get backlinks and textlinks without exchanging or buying it?

Final question, if I added a medical blog onto the same domain, how will it affect my rankings?

Use bookmarking sites like Digg StumbleUpon etc to submit your QUALITY articles to. If they are any good you should receive links that way.

Also, type in link building 101 into the forum search box that will keep you busy.
