Can I find the # of searches on Google for a specific word?
I am trying to figure out how to direct more clients to my site. If I do a search for "garden furniture" I am the second site listed. I'd like to say that I purchased the site this way. I am happy with the ranking for this, but I would like to increase my page rank overall.

I am also interested in how to include the word "patio" in my site. I believe that patio is searched 4-5x more than "garden" Is there a way to find out the number of times "patio furniture" and "garden furniture" are searched for? I believe that if I can get "in" with the patio search results, I will have much more business.

Is there a tool that will tell me the # of searches for specific words?

You can try inventory.overture.com (but it only shows searches done in Yahoo)

or google.com/trends (doesn't show specific numbers, but you can still compare different keywords)

for your keyword research I personally would go with the program keyword elite if you are serious about increasing your traffic flow for your site!
