do you know any thing about this?

http://www.google.com/microsoft.html

is this a tie up? a deal? a paid service? cheating..lol

what exactly makes them to have such a setup when MSN alone can do it all?

arent they supposed to be rivals? share your thoughts..

There are more links like this:

http://www.google.com/mac/

http://www.google.com/linux

http://www.google.com/bsd

Google has created several technologically related special searches each for a computer platform and 'Microsoft' is one of them. There is no tie up or deal.

Well those are all that are using google's search appliance and hence have a space there.. But how about a dedicated HTML page setup?

The URL's u mentioned clearly use search appliance..microsoft shouldnt use it anyway

I thought that only yahoo will team up to Microsoft! Well, the results are all related to Microsoft.
I think this is not a workout between google n microsoft, its just another service by Google that will surely gives accurate result if you are looking for Microsoft products.

You see, Why not Wikipedia? Why not Amazon? Why not wal-mart? Why not Macy's.. thay are all big brands as well.. Why microsoft alone has a special setup..?

What about this then? http://www.google.com/intl/xx-hacker/

There has to be something to be there next to google.com that possibly only google knows.. incase anyone else does, share..
