    buying links

Will link buying get you banned from G? Also that means I will have many anchor text with same KW. When the G stomp started I kinda went off the deep end and bought some high PR links. Will that bit me on the next update?

no PR links still matter. The only thing that will bite you is if you payed too much for them ;)

    buying links

If you buy links...and google thinks you're buying links (IE...a chunk of links on the bottom of a page that are unrelated, along with a SEO link, they may think you're buying PR...and they can place a filter on that site you're buying from, and that link won't count.

Check sites...see if backlinks are counting....I used to buy lots of links, but no longer do (Google filetered many - not counting backlinks)....the word now is "relevant" and "unnoticeable" ....PR, I could care less for.

Take it from me, I bought from the biggest ;)

Welcome to the board greyhat but I have to differ on your post.

Google has better sh*t to do than single out individual sites. Yes relevancy counts but that doesn't mean a complete PR ban. Sure the link wont have as much push BUT there is a push. Google can't blaim webmasters for linking to site. If webmasters want to than they have to power to do so. Taking away that privalage would defy what the "net" is all about. Why arent all affiliate links banned??? I have been on many website that the advertisers links are completely irrelevant to what the main site is about. Sure the links wont count as much but they still matter.
