    Bumping duplicate entries from SERPS


    Could someone give me a step by step guide as to what you do to bump a competitors double ranking form google??

    I have treid it myself but can't seem to get it to work.

    "Bump a ranking from Google"... Do you mean remove it?
    Is there a reason why it shouldn't be there? (If so you can submit a spam report).

    Or do you mean you have a competitor with 2 urls listed beneath each-other in the serps and you want to overtake them?
    If so they're in a strong position so - in order to beat them - you need a stronger one!

    A "step by step guide" isn't really possible without a whole lot more detail (it depends where you both are with your site SEO, how old the 2 sites are, what serps you're targetting etc etc).

    With so little detail the only guaranteed guide would be:
    Step 1: Buy a site which ranks above them

    I guess he's talking about how to knock off indented results of a site listed above his site in the SERPs.
