Bookmarking your site

Hi Guys,

I've learned that bookmarking your site will somehow increase your PR in search engines. But how if you bookmark your site in one day to 100 bookmarking site? Will google consider this as spam? Or will it be just fine... Any experience about this? Waiting for your response... Thanks

If you add your site 100 bookmarking website then it not necessay all book marking sites wiil be cache in same day in google.

This will have no effect on your PR. SBM sites may give your site a short term boost in the SERPs.

It's ok if you bookmark it to different social bookmarking site but no guarantee that your pagerank will be higher o next update. SB sites are more on traffic.

This would depend on two factors....

1. Is the SBM site using nofollow attributes in their outbound hyperlinks? If they are they will not pass any Pagerank value.

2. Does the SBM site even have a decent Pagerank flow? SBM sites have "tons" of outbound links, they would provide little to no Pagerank value unless you some how where able to stay on the homepage, even then your looking at diluted Pagerank flow.

So, to answer your question... No social bookmarking sites should not be used for Pagerank.

It is good to know that this won't effect your page rank, but wouldn't it be good for exposure, or do the social networking sites not share a users bookmarks?

Valid point PR is not the all things, why we do seo for any website just because for getting traffic we get handsome traffic from adding our rich content in SB sites.

PR doesn't give factor to get a good rank in the SERP. Social bookmarking help to get good traffics cause most of the social bookmarking site has rel no follow . . .
