Anyone know of a (preferably php/mysql) free forum that google can crawl/index really well?

I use phpBB and vBulletin. vBulletin has been much easior for me to get listed in Google. Simply get the session ID out of the URL on vBulletin and BANG!! Google crawls it. *cough*Look at the URL of this thread!!*cough* mod-rewrite, taking the session ID out of the URL, and hacks all work great with vBulletin. I put in one so called Google friendly hack for phpBB and I still havn't got Google to list board threads there, just the board index page, and the phpBB board doesn't even show the session ID in the URL!

I actually have one helluva spider friendly phpbb board. I had to add 3 mods to get it that way mind. The 5.100 indexed forum pages that are responsible for half my search engine traffic prove that there isnt much wrong with a modded phpbb forum for Google ;-)
This forum I see is also well modded. Havent checked if the robots.txt is stopping duplicates if applicable.

    mods

Would you be willing to share your modding experience, either here, pm, or email me?

I thought it would only be the removing of the session ID mod that was needed.

    Thanks!

    "xhttp://www.seochat.com/t3838/s.html"

is a Unix remapped URL. Unix spits it out like this instead of

    "xhttp://www.seochat.com?forum=Google&id=1234&blahblahblah"

Google dosnt seem to like these so remapping Urls is a good way for Google to index your pages. So these pages have been remapped for Google friendly crawls. I thought you took yourself out of the index so remapping isn't that important??

We wanted to be crawled by Google so we took a number of steps to ensure it occurs.
