Best Authority Newspaper Sites for Page Rank

What are the top 10 authority newspaper sites to get listed (paid) for purposes of passing page rank?

Also, what are you're thoughts if your link is listed on these newspaper sites in "advertisement section" with respect to google?

Thanks

If you are concerned with page rank only (and I would advice you not be at all) just look at the page rank of the page where the link is coming from and the number of links on that page.

The less links and the more page rank then the more page rank juice will flow.

With regards to paid links and advertisment section it will give much less value than a link within content.

I would advise you ignore page rank and concentrate on relevance because thats what its all about.

I think you will have a hard time for this. Google does not support sites selling links that passes page rank.

thanks guys. so when evualating incontent link, if the page is contextually relevant but has page rank of 0, but domain rank of say 4 or 5 would you go for it, i.e. place link on there?

also, when considering relevancy of page, would you consider:

a. if page title is relevant to your topic, then obviously choose that

b. would you focus on content and anchor text being relevant,

c. or both a and b

lastly, any recomended brokers in usa, when choosing paid text links?

thansk
