Are search results in differnt countries are differ on same key word ?

i have heard that search results in different countries are different with same key word , is it true ? And if yes then is there any different technique to optimize site so that it should come on top in all countries ?

I want to know how dynamic sites do get optimized ?

If you are trying to target by countries try to get links from those country. But if you want to target internationally then get links from related site all over the world.

Country to country????? The results sometimes differ on system to system (which might be your neighbours system) and even from browser to browser due to different data centres.

As noticed lately, geo-location is coming into play quite quickly in Google now so you have to keep in mind certain things while deciding your target market.

Yes, You are right. search results is different from country with same keyword. You should try to get links from sites of that country means if you are optimizing site for uk then you should try to get links from .co.uk sites.

Its somehow impossible for me.

But i think of a few things that might get the result you wanted without optimizing a site.
1. Think of a very unique ideas! Like make a search engine(true if no search engine ever exist as of today ).

2. Be VERY controversial.

3. Target this keyword, "adbYjhdsGUmFmnsdbnmsdbfjhgsdfsfsdgjsdfh" and put it in your title and content. Seems like a joke but it was true. But in reality, thats very foolish.. anyway im a fool hahaha.

In short, it was almost closed to impossible to ranked TOP in all countries..... Judge intelligently and study possibilities.. Make fun out of it and love what your doing. If you experience FUN, then your a winner!

If you are using country specific Google such as Google.co.uk and when you observed closely the search results in Google. There are two options to choose from "search the web" and "pages from UK".

The two will give different results. But "search the web" results is similar but not exactly the same as other Google country based engines including Google.com. It fluctuates a bit little but not as drastic as "pages from UK" for example.

To optimize the site, you need to consider where and who are your target customers. Then consider the above information in your planning.

I have a question for this: What if you have multiple languages in folders (they are not geo specific with webmaster tools) and the keywords for these languages are virtually the same as english; what effect would you expect this to have?

Because the past week i have seen multiple websites drop in all languages except english. The whole geo seems to be messed up at this moment in time.

Im running some tests but dont know what the outcome will be :S
