Any recent add url or submit site lists around

Been Googling and most are out of date and useless, is there any add url or submit site lists around at the moment that are quite good thanks.

Forget about "add url or submit site". It's a thing of the past.
Get links and may be submit Google and Yahoo site maps.

Search for "submit site map" and you'll get tons of information.

I agree Raz, that add url and submit site are not nearly as effective or time efficient as they used to be. In fact, I hardly ever use the method myself. Still, I would not go as far as to say don't bother with it.

I'd like to see a list of Add URL or Submit Sites broken down into niches myself...

First, I apologize is this is extremely obvious since I am quite new to the SEO world.

By "Submit / Add URL Sites" are you referring to free directories? Or does that term refer to somthing else?

Both actually. I was in fact referring to using "Add URL, or Submit Site" in your search string on Google. For example, my site is about making money online. So, when I do this (which is rare) I type something like "make money add url" or "make money online submit site". There are much more efficient ways to get better quality links , more bang for your buck, as they say. Still, you never know when you can find a gem or two. Most results however will be for sites looking for reciprocal linking (which I hate).

Thanks a bunch. I have just been submitting to as many free directories as possible. I will deifnately try that technique.
