Analytics show zero visits the past week?
My site went from having 100-200 visits a day to showing zero visits a day this past week. Today was the first time I saw this but I checked and it is still in the index so I know it wasnt blacklisted or anything. What could the problem be? In Webmaster tools it updated 2 days ago as far as showing that it was crawled so I dont know what the problem could be?

Do the following
-Visit your web site and then go to Google Analytics and check the real time analytics.
-Check your raw server logs as a comparison
If you don't see any one in the real time analytics then analytics is broken.
If you see entries in your raw server logs but not analytics then analytics is broken
It sounds like your analytics code is no longer working. 0 visits from all sources is very unlikely.

Not really sure how to check my server logs but I am positive the site has had views because I have got orders and calls.
How do I get a new code without losing years worth of info?

I've had this happen a few times. I just simply readded the code and it worked after 24 hours. Trevor, you've had to actually apply for a new code before?? That's a scary thought regarding losing historic data.

No I haven't ever had to re apply for a new code and I haven't ever had analytics die on me either.

The more I think about it, the more I agree. From what I recall, all the sites I have had to readd were WordPress. A systematic update might over over-wrote files, etc.

I'd install the free statcounter and kick google analytic to the curb.

Just because everyone is looking at me doesn't make me paranoid!

But ... Google Analytics provide more than just number of visits or counts. They also provide graph, comparison, conversion tracking and such which might not available on other services ~
