Amazing results !!

Hi,

Not so long i created some subdomains with the main keyword
as sub domain....

The results where amazing...
(getting all 4 subdomains on No.1 with different queries)

(nope it's not my domain show in the profile )

Who has noticed the same when using a keyword..as a sub domain
since in this occasion it was easy to get to the top

(some words are with 75000 competitive websites so it might be good
to consider subdomains....)

regards, hans

this one >>>> http://Key-word.mydomain.com

the second example is a sub directory....

I think what counts for the title at google...may
also be the case for a http://subdomain.domain.com

So that the first words in the complete URL is also more heavy in weight !!! (it would not surprise me at least after what i have seen)

Will sure try this for more combinations..with optimized pages...

(ps...each subdomain has it's own unique content !!
just the way it should be....for the newbees who might read
this )

regards, hans

hans, while Google does take into account keywords in the URL, it really counts very little in terms of helping your rankings. If you have good rankings it must depend on links to those subdomains plus on-page factors like the title, etc.

It has to be something else gringo...
(or i did optimize them to well..... )

Those subdomains ....(5 in total)

they all have no links to them on google...
they are NOT listed in any directory....like dmoz...

they are optimized with the keywords shown in the total url !!
(ofcourse also the title...)

from 5 ...3 rank no1....on my words...and in some cases
with much competition....

regards, hans

hey Hans > congratulations!
Sounds good and I see the same.
Back links > I’m not to sure about, I see a lot of no 1 > with 0 back links.
keyword in title > same in the h1 or h2 tag and in the links again the keyword and I hear always that the domain name plays a roll too.
So why not
All the best
mauri

Consider me an newbe. If a site has a www.domain.com as well as just the domain.com set up with exactly the same content, is that considered bad by Google?

And, as a follow-up. What if a site that is database-driven has several alternative url:s reflecting the exact same content?
Compare http://www.lindqvist.com/index.php?newID=811
to http://www.lindqvist.com/nikkeindex.php?newID=811
to http://www.lindqvist.com/xpo/index.php?ID=811

The links above is my own private playground, so it doesn't really matter what google thinks of it there thought...

Send a message via ICQ to SeoItaly
to have a lot of sub-domains could be considered like spam?

Hi All,

I have the chance to configure how many sub-domains I need about my company web site.
Every page of the site has an own text and an unique content.

If I have 20 keyphrase, may I configure 20 sub-domains for each one of them and link them all from the Home page?
Could be considered like spam at next Dance?

See ya

This way it is not spam.....just a way to give some extra weight in the
keyword/subdomain name you choose...

I did the same...for 5 pages....it amazed me really about the results...
when checking google with a specific query and my pages...

regards, hans

When did you get the resaults? It could simply be the freshbot, meaning they will be de-listed with in a few days.
