Question Am I keyword spamming?

I have recently contacted some SEO companies to work on ranking for some keyword terms I am trying to target. I told him I have already reached pages 2-3 for my target phrase... he said I was keyword spamming and that they only reason I was ranking was because the phrase is in my domain. But - I have done link exchanges etc..

I would appreciate any feedback. I just haven't had any time to keep up with all the changes lately so I need to hire someone to take the wheel. I just want to make sure I hire someone who is shooting straight.

Domain is:

b o d y w r a p p a t c h dot com.

Thank you in advance. I truly value all of your opinions.

Have a great day.

In terms of actually reading the content, it does feel a bit spammy in terms of language, but not enough to get you penalized and not wholly uncommon in this sort of market.

The title, however, is spammy.

If you ever actually have to ask if you are keyword spamming then you most probably are!

Ya - I am changing the title - I agree with that 100%. I was trying to figure out a way to have the phrases in the title both in plural and singular...

So - maybe adjust any content to not read spammy... what about alt tags? Should I leave those as is?

so what would be considered 'not spammy' regarding alt tags? is it not ok to have the same phrases on all images of a page?

thanks

Aside from the fact that you have the same keyword(s) for every image, the individual alt tags are also multiple identical words, which is textbook spam.

Any SEO who said that is not a proper SEO. Keyword in the domain makes the most minascule of differences.

This also makes a minimal difference

ALT Tags should have relevant keywords in them.

Put embeded javascript and CSS in external files.
