    allintext:Results Good; Regular search:Results STINK

Why does a search with the allintext: command bring up the previous results, while a standard search brings up completely different SERPs?

Does allintext: query a different data center? Or is it a fluke trick for seeing what the results used to be?

I notice for competitive keywords that allintext yields a lot of "homepage" results, that is, index pages only, while a standard search shows a lot of free pages like geocities, udub.com, fateback.com, etc. and pages from directories....These are crappy results...Why did I pay for domain names if Google likes free pages better?

BTW, keywords I am looking at: betting, casinos, sports betting, online casinos, online casino

allintext: excludes stemming keywords and only looks for the keywords in the content. A regular search uses more variables to display results. A site's theme, backlink text, stemming keywords and so on play a much larger role.

SERPS stink depend on who looks at them ;)

Maybe this isn't over yet...I hope...

I had a brand new site sitting at position #22 for the main keyword phrase last Wednesday. It had no backlinks showing and only 1 page indexed at the time.

Since the update it has vanished from the serps (it does come up if you enter the site name) but now has picked up the backlinks and is a PR5.
