so abc.com and def.com are the same site, but different domains.
And your question is what is the best, a link from one domain to the other or redirect.
I guess the link is better for your pr, but the 301 is better in general.
Maybe the best thing to do is toch check where your links to abc.com come from, mail the people with the question they can change the url and then do a 301.
Result: Your def.com has high pr, and visitors on abc will still get to your def site

Totally depend on what you are doing... if the second domain has no value to you - then 301 redirect (but it will take longer for the affect to be apparent.
It's worth noting though that as a redirect the second domain will never "improve" and will slowly deprecate to nothing... sorry but no one intentionally links to a redirect.

so if i do a 301 from def.com to abc.com after a while it will "slowly deprecate to nothing"
So what is the best way (if there is a way) do inherit to PR from the site def.com
Do a 301 or put up a link from def.com to abc.com?
how long doze this things take for me to notice eny difrens?
Undderstand but eventually domains offering links to def.com will see "it's just a redirect" and remove there link, others will redefine there own websites and remove old pages, and as the def.com isn't a website anymore it'll get no fresh linkage so over time will be worth less & less.
How long? Could be a couple of months or as long as 6 months depending on when Google crawls and recredits pages.

How much dose it mather if the link is "a b c c. c o m" or if it say somthing lik "a importent word" and the link is in html
thank you for the fast replays
a bunch of links on different pages each anchored as something different is better than 1 link or a link sitewide where everypage repeats the same anchor.
