Can anyone give the details of Google algorithm name and years.

Google's algorithm does not have a name, at least not publicly (if that is what you are asking about). If you are asking for the details of what makes up Google's algorithm, that is a trade secret that is protected quite aggressively.

As for when Google started, that depends on what you consider "Google". Larry Page and Sergey Brin started working together on their first search engine in 1996. It wasn't called Google then. The current algorithm has evolved from that work and is constantly changing.Google launched as a company in 1998.

I would think since April 2005 you would have read enough to answer your question.

I think he may be refering to the patents, which google have filed.

Which there are very many of most which refer to Pay per click logic.

Also we have no ideas on how these patents have been rolled out, and how serious googles intention is with them, so I think they are of limited use.

Most of that is irrelevant. The 'good' info has never been given out in a patent.
All that is relevant is knowing how to rank a site and how to keep it there. If you know that nothing else is needed. And that knowledge is quite easily obtained here at SeoChat just by doing some reading.
