Advice : Deleting disavow files. What effect does it have?

I work for an agency and we have just won a contract for a retail site.

I am in the first week on benchmarking the site and analysing it's backlinks and all of a sudden I get an alert from Google WMT telling me that someone has uploaded a Disavow file with almost 900 domains.

Obviously this was extremely confusing but now I am worried that this is the previous agency trying to wipe out the site's backlink profile.

I have downloaded the disavow file and I am wondering if I should delete the disavow from the WMT disavow screen. Will this undo the disavowing of the 900 domains until I can sift through the file and assess the links myself.

(Just as a note the site has no manual actions penalties or anything like that).

You can get your answer of your concered from http://googlewebmastercentral.blogsp...vow-links.html Google says about how to undo links disavowed

Q: I uploaded some good links. How can I undo uploading links by mistake?
A: To modify which links you would like to ignore, download the current file of disavowed links, change it to include only links you would like to ignore, and then re-upload the file. Please allow time for the new file to propagate through our crawling/indexing system, which can take several weeks.

How do they still have webmaster control?

1st unauthorized them fast (the previous company), how do they still have access to WM. Then "delete" your disavow file from google webmaster. As @Prof. Stan has mentioned, it take weeks to be recognized by google. They have many cases like these in the past and present. Even if they have been added to the google data bank, just delete the file, no worries there.

Please let me know if there are any other solutions.
