    about link-command

I'm wondering why linksearch (ie. link:www.domain.com/) doesn't bring up as many backlinks in SERPS as regular search for "domain.com". Does anybody know an explanation?

I began wondering this after doing some tweaking with my site. Using link command returns 17 results, using "domain.com" returns 870 results (most of them are linking to my page, there's even one PR7 which does not show up with link. Is it somehow related to PR-value or is there something else ?

First of all, Google only shows backlinks for pages of PR4 or more (both the pages the links are on and the page you want to see the links for.

Also, there have been many reports of backlinks simply not showing up after the last couple of updates. For a better indication, use the AllTheWeb backlink funtion.
