About domain name

I was a beginner of seo ,I was plan buy a domain name .
I find that there are a lot type of domain name like .com , .cn ,.net, .gov, .hk, .com.cn , .hk, .de , .hk etc .

my questions is does these domain name type is equal friendly to google engine ? or some of them are more friendly ?

They're all equally friendly seo wise, once you fix the auto-geo-targeting issue in Webmaster Tools.

But...... get the domain extension that appeals most to your target market. If you're going after the US, get a .com. If you're going after the UK, get a .co.uk. ..... etc.

Be sure you buy a domain that your visitors will trust. I'm in the US, and would most likely be skeptical to buy from a .we domain, or really anything other than .com, .edu, .gov, or perhaps a .net.

Ie.... What does your target market want to see?

I have a good domain name ,but .com have been used by other users ,so I have to choose .net or .cn

due to the domain name I choose was just the keyword for google .so keywords.com have been used by other people .so I want to use keywords.cn.

Search engine do not have problem about domain extension it only monitor the optimization of websites. But it is better if you choose .com or .net or your country extention domain such as for india .in is.
