    Ads, most likely.

Are you using affiliate links? Any (other) type of ads that might involve foreign code being inserted? Ads based on <IFRAME> ?

I'd be a bit more paranoid than dzine is. His suggestions are benign but the most common issue I've seen that causes this is your site and/or server got hacked. I know, for instance, that Plesk (a popular hosting management system) had a major vulnerability that got exploited several months back and malicious activity is just now starting to creep in (even if the host patched the vulnerability).

Here's what you need to do to check for malware

    1. Load Firefox with the Firebug addon installed
    2. Open Firebug (F12), click on the Net panel and make sure it's enabled
    3. Load your site
    4. The Net panel will now show you ALL the requests your browser made to load that page. This makes it easier to spot malware because many hackers will obfuscate their URLs in the code.

If you found malware, now what?

    1. Change your passwords. That means any control panels, server passwords, FTP. Change any password that would let someone access your server files.
    2. Remove the offending code.
    3. Submit a reinclusion request to Google. That way Google knows you've done something about it.

    Good luck!

The above is one way of doing but if your with a quality host you should be able to skip it all and go straight to letting google know its been fixed!

Email your host and let them know your getting the warnings and.. sod it, send em this in an email or support ticket and they should fix it for good:

    Hi,

I have been having some malware problems with my site www.xyz.com and although I thought I had fixed it by removing the problem code it still seems to keep coming back (3rd time now).

So in short could you please remove all the malware from my site, check where it go in and fix the problem so this no longer happens or I will have to consider changing hosts because this is causing me a lose in earnings due to your server security some where.

    Kind Regards,
    Name
Simply change www.xyz.com and Name with your details and you should be good to send. I have used this before with personal hosting accounts I had and its been fixed within the hour, so its a good way to get the work done correctly for free by your host

Once that's done, do as noted above in respects to changing your login details and sending that report to google, simples ;)

It's not your host. It's your computer. Your computer is infected.

You save your FTP passwords in your FTP program, right?

Let me guess, you're using CoreFTP or Filezilla?

They store passwords in PLAIN TEXT.

Fix and scan YOUR COMPUTER first, then clean up your website.

Edit: Let me expand to defend my confidence.

Hacker makes a trojan or malware. He installs it/sends it to emails.

Said trojan/malware spreads.. people open it and install it.

Malware looks at the computer, looking for FTP programs.

Malware finds FTP programs, extracts passwords, sends password to hacker.

Hacker modifies your website to auto load said malware to your visitors.

    Your visitors get infected.

Your visitors who have websites and FTP access get compromised.

    Cycle repeats.

I'll bet my entire reputation that your computer is infected, and infected bad. Why? I haven't always been so 'white-hat'. I can tell you that this practice is common, affective and lucrative.

    Now, how to fix it?

    Microsoft Security Essentials
    Spybot Search and Destroy
    Malware Bytes.

Get those three, scan your computer then come back. Let's crawl before we walk and stop this at the source.

Oh, and PS: DON'T SAVE YOUR PASSWORDS IN PROGRAMS THAT STORE THEM IN PLAIN TEXT!!!!!!!!

    • EGOL → agrees: I agree that the computer is prime suspect.... but lots of hosts have backdoors.

I'm taking notes. Even better, I'm writing up this thread as an SEO Chat article and posting it on the front end. This will come in very handy if/when I ever get my own blog/website off the ground.

We covered this thoroughly before with you. You got excellent advice in this thread:

    http://forums.seochat.com/google-opt...or-460397.html

If the information in that thread and this thread don't solve the problem you need to hire a professional! I gave you a name of a good guy, or you could hire joshz (from this thread).
