    302s getting worse?

I noticed a tailing off in Google traffic for about 5 sites I manage this past week -- doing the now weary inurl: searches I found that one of biggest 302 culprits is the caching sub-domain of alexa. To this I respond...are you kidding me? OF COURSE they will have a higher PR, but that doesn't have anything to do with canonicalization!!!

I had SO hoped that Google would fix this problem once and for all when they saw how devastating it can be to have the problem occur for themselves; apparently I was mistaken.

So, a few canonical page e-mails later I'm still waiting for something, anything. Maybe they should stop trying to create world mapping systems and try to build a working search engine.

Hmmm... Cygnus, whenever I send an email to Google they usually call me right away (20-30 minutes maximum) to find out what is going on and how they can help me personally...

Now now. Their Adwords people call me back.

I meant in terms of seeing the errant result disappear from the inurl searches -- I have had it happen within a few days before...it would make sense to actually do a string comparison on the domains to see if it should be included within the domain or not...not that hard.

Thats why I email them about my SERP problems now and then just for fun, its funny to watch them bump their heads trying to find my adwords account that I dont have. LOL
