No direct answer on my part but basically it still depends how google will crawl your old url. But if done correctly you should not worry about the number of days it takes.

I experienced redirecting my site to its new domain but I didn't notice how long it took.Actually,I didn't notice it.Now its still the same PR. Some increase and some are not as the update comes.

The PR will probably change easily. A different matter is when the new PR will appear on the greenbar. That can take some time, but it won´t affect your rankings, which is, at the end of the day, what should matter.

Like SEO Madrid said... In reality the PR will change as soon as Google have reindexed the site, but you won't see it... You only see the "toolbar PR".
How long it will take for the toolbar PR to change depends on several things, mostly the "snapshot effect" (IE: The next Google update will change the visible PR to match a "snapshot" of the real PR, taken at some time during the previous period / since the previous update). Since the timing of the snapshot is unknown outside of Google (and appears to be fairly random) you may well have to wait for 2 PR updates before you see the changes.
Serps will point to the new pages as soon as Google have them indexed; you could speed things up by submitting an updated sitemap via GWT.
