301 Redirect terrbily hurts my index amount !
I have finished a big operation on my website - turning the whole site into static pages by 301 redirect. It seems bad.
The index amount of my websites has decreased too much. The search engine only indexes 4/7 of my category pages, and most of my product pages are unindexed. It has been about 2 monthes, the old version of URl has disappeared. I'm very confused, no matter my site is of 301 redirect or new, that why search engine do not crawl and index my site. It index one category, but why miss the next category. Give me some advice, the professional.

Did you 301 each page of the old site to the corresponding new page? Did you check to make sure the 301 was working properly?

Yes, Google responds good to my 301 redirect, but other search engine unindexes 70% of my category pages and 95% of my product pages. Some search engine seems to hate 301 status.

The other search engines might just take a while to try to weed out spam sites.
BTW why would you switch TO a static site?
