301 individual pages or just domain?

I am moving one of my websites to a different domain name and I was wondering if it necessary to redirect each individual page to its new location or if I can just make 1 redirect from the old domain to the new domain?

All of the pages on my site have pretty decent page rank and I would like them to keep it. Would this be possible if I just redirected xyz.com to xyz123.com?

Thanks in advance for any help.

If you want to keep as much of the PR and backlinks than I recommend using a 301 for everypage individually insteading of redirecting everything to one domainname.

You can use wildcards. They work real well if the pages on both site have the same names.
