30 Penalty??

Hi

Can anyone please help me what is 30 ranking penalty?? My site was on the top for many key phrase, but from few days google is not allowing it to come within 30. Moreover, 280 pages are indexed in which only 5 are showing in the result and the rest are coming in omitted result.

What is your url put like this 'www dot mysite dot com' (forume rules wont let you just put adress) and what keywords are you targetting?

keywords are mobile phone shops, nokia n97, nokia n95

Hmm they are quite competative keywords. I looked at you links on yahoo and most of your links are quite low quality. you have heaps from a site called links collector. google will only count these once. (is this some kind of link trading sysytem) if so maybee there is some kind of penalty being impossed. Many of the rest of your link appear to be from free directories are free article submission sites. These type of sites ten to give quite limited link juice.

Is you site newish? New sites often get a temporary boost in google for a few months than the filters cut in and your site falls back to its natural rankings.

My guess is you simply donot have enough link juice to be performing well for those keywords.

My advice try to get some better quality back links.
