    2 Questions...

    Dear all,
first post on this forum. Appreciate any comments and help.
I have been self optimizing my website (NDG) for past few months.

    Main Keywords:
    Garden design Sussex.
    Modern garden design.

    Question 1
To keep my site "minimal" I've repeated all my keyword text within a scrolling text panel to "hide it". Is this classified as black-hat tactics?

    Take a look> see website - google ndg+

hover mouse over "up & "down" text to see what I mean

    Question 2
Best way to get quick impact on google without paying for adwords (which people may consider suspicious)

    Thanks in advance.

The first tactic sounds a little questionable, but I would have to have a look at the site to be sure. Abbreviate the URL with www(dot)domain(dot)com.

For a market such as yours a quick way to get visitors would be to create some gardening tips, tricks or ideas as articles and then submit them on sites such as digg.com and other social media sites. This would get some decent impact quickly.

Why might anybody consider paying for Google AdWords suscpicous? Its a perfectly acceptable form of SEM to use and should be used in conjunction with an Organic campaign.

If PPC can provide positive ROI it should be used, even if you have number 1 rankings for all of your targeted keywords.

Thanks for the advice. I have tried to write articles but it the thing I hate about this SEO game is that there is no immediate feedback! The results take so long so as a beginner you never sure if you're on the right path. Guess that's why I should use the professionals!!

Anyway, wrt sponsored links - I asked around and found that the majority of people were happier to use the organic listings as the sponsored links not always flagged the service or product they were trying to find.

Perhaps I should look into it as I some of my competitors are doing it and continue to do it.
