2 day campaign with custom frontpage

Im planning to run an e-mail campaign towards my customers,
and im thinking about putting the campaign all over my default page (www.mydomain.com/).
The plan was to leave it there only 2-3 days, and then back to the ordinary default page, just as an extra campaign "booster".
Now im wandering, could changing my default page radically for a few days, and then back again harm my SERPS?

if it aint broke don't fix it.

i personally wouldn't risk it... especially if you are ranking well.
It's been fun everyone... Time to leave for good. See this for more details.

Creat a landing page specifically for the campaign. Don't publish your home page, send them directly to the special landing page.

The newest trend, exercised by marketers, especially those advertising on TV is to register a set of domain names like; www.01mydomain.com , www.11mydomain.com etc… and have landing pages on them. These are easier for people to remember, especially if combined with short to the point domain names, and easier to track not to mention the eventual linking advantage.
