Maybe Google is hopeing for alot of uneducated shareholders that think Google makes billions because movies use terms like "Google it!".
Also the NYSE is notorious for under-pricing online companies. So Google wants the public to decide instead. Any Joe with a credit card can buy shares without having to deal with the NYSE. -PK |
