the googlebombing story is a little exaggerated....i mean how hard is it to hit no.1 for some non-commercial...non-competitive phrase like 'out-of-touch-executives'.
it doesnt prove much.
just a stupid publicity story.

stupid yes, but...
.. I had a good laugh when I read that "out-of-touch-executives" points to http://www.google.com/corporate/execs.html. But... seriously speaking G-bombing is IMO something that professional SEO's should consider as a very harmfull side-effect. This kind of news bring mainly bad publicity to all SEOs...

yeah...
but from my experience...the average site owner still has no idea what the heck that story is referring to. i am not talking about a webmaster or web designer wanting to hire a seo company. i am talking about the executive or business owner. they dont read that stuff with all that seo jargon. thats what i have experienced with my clients.
