Site Command That Shows Zero Supplemental Results

hey guys!

hows everything going on?

Yet again, was reading SER, and came across this command,
it shows the number of pages in regular index only, and removes the ones that are in supplemental

Syntax: site:www.example.com/*

Syntax:

site:www.example.com/* ---> This command will give you result "without supplemental result"

site:www.xyz. com *** -view ---> This command will give you "supplement result of particular website"

This both commands will give you the percentage of supplemental result of your total pages index...

are those spaces because I got weird results all the way around.

site:www.prnewsnow.com/ -view gave me 240,000 (such a nice pretty round number hmmmm.)

site:www.prnewsnow.com/* gave 12,200 (again pretty round if you ask me)

site:www.prnewsnow.com/ gave 209,000

site:www.prnewsnow.com gave 188,000

site:www.prnewsnow.com/***-view gave me an error thus I assumed the * really were spaces.

So tell me what am i looking at with each call? Why do I care about 1 vs another? I'm not trying to change any of those numbers on purpose. The 12,200 number gives more pause than the others does that spell upcoming doom for my traffic?
