Frankly not the best of articles I've ever seen lol. I kind of get the jist of the article but really it is really a "what is the world coming to" type of article with something about America being threatened by global communication such as Google and email or some bullcrap like that lol.
What will not go down well at the Googleplex is that Google is being seen as all powerful. They really dont want to be seen as "God" and try their hardest not to be in dictionaries etc. It only reinforces claims they have a monopoly when such articles get published. Not good news for the Google legal department. |

Shame, started off well with good stats and comment, but decended into a curious rant about terrorists amassing via Google.

This article was weak. If Google will allow terrorist to organize, why didn't it allow us to be able to spy on them as well before 9/11? If "God" or Google sees all and is everywhere then it should not have happened? I personally don't care if Google has a monopoly. The other search engines are not stepping up to the plate. I'm sure Mr. Gates is relieved the heat is not on him for once.

This wasn't such a bad article, if you leave out the terrorist-angle, probably there because of editorial reasons. I read an article more along the lines of what Michael Moore is saying: average Americans don't know **** of what is going on in the world, let alone in the U.S. They need to wake up fast, before individual Americans will be held responsible for actions their Government is taking. I feel it is more about Europe vs US points-of-view, than it is on Osama et. al. vs. US
