I typed in a few really high traffic keywords and I got nothing. How are they getting this info? Are they using my Goal Conversions area in my google analytics and posting that info there? If thats the case I'm gonna knock a zero off all my convertion amounts. grrrr

Oh, maybe they are using their google adwords to get this info?

More information from our rep:

We utilize our search data to provide insight into search query volume for Google Checkout Trends. Google Checkout Trends analyzes a portion of Google Checkout searches to compute how many searches have been done for the terms you've entered, relative to the total number of searches done on Google over time. The information provided by Trends is now updated daily, and Hot Trends is updated hourly.

Google Trends is a great way to see what users on Google are searching for. However, it is a Google Labs product, which means it's still in its early stages of development. The data Trends produces may contain inaccuracies for a number of reasons, including data-sampling issues and a variety of approximations that are used to compute results.

So looks like it's still in beta mode and only uses a portion of stats from companies out there.

They only take a portion of data, so it may mean that the industry your in doesn't have many Google Checkout companies.
