Google To Possibly Launch Wi-Fi Balloons?
*I am unable to post links since I'm a newbie*
Has anyone seen the Wall Street Journal Blog posting about the Wi-Fi balloon company that Google may buy to launch Wi-Fi for rural area residents? If you go onto the Wall Street Journal site -- I'm sure you could find it (or if someone can post it for me) What do you think of this idea? It's definitely "interesting and innovative". Will it work? |

Interesting idea. I imagine environmentalists will keep this from happening anywhere near the ocean. I think there's a limited range that this will go.
Google is buying everything and anything these days. We'll see if this ends up being just another toy purchase. |

Yeah, that wi-fi t-shirt is cool. The t-shirt detects 802.11b or 802.11g signals and displays the strength directly on the front of the shirt.
