I searched using google.co.in and i found the search result taking to a page named map town.

search any keyword and you are landed into maptown.com 404 error page

I couldn't reproduce it but I don't think it means its hacked. Maptown most likely changed their url structure and Google hadn't updated its information.
A hack would indicate outside tampering which does not seem to be the case. |

just have a look now, google.co.in is totally off (hijacked) and i could see maptown.com when i type the url google.co.in in the address bar.

Do a scan on your computer as you may have some spyware installed or something. That url brings up Google for me and I have no problem searching

Google.com is alright here also. The problem is with google.co.in only. I have tried it across four or five machines in my office

Don't know what to tell you, www.google.co.in comes up fine and is fully functional for me.

It’s all right now. But for the past two hours maptown.com displaced google.co.in. I just couldn’t believe this cause there is no one else to support this.
