Talking they "in trial and on hold" my keyword!!

Hi guys, name is rizki and i kinda new in this ppc business. i submitted my keywords this month and this morning i foud out that some of my keyword status are on "in trial and on hold". i set the bid for 11 cents, and seems i am the only one who use that keyword since the average cpc for that keyword is none.

thanks

I had the same thing happen immediately after I created an ad group - the message I received was, this keyword was not performing to their standards. I thought - huh? You gotta let the horse out of the barn before you can tell if he can run... And this was also on KW's that were not being advertised on at all.

They'll still run the ad, just slowly, when there's enough extra space....The whole right side of the screen was open, so I'm not sure how much more extra space was needed. If I had to guess, they know the search term is a good one, and they know people ought to be paying more for it, and they don't like when someone snarfs it up for $.05/click. IMHO.

Try typing the keywords in to Google to see how many other ads there are... the keyword analysis tool is not always that accurate.

Your ads will get put on hold if the CTR drops below 0.5% this is Google's way of keeping them relevant.

I'm wondering if regional results are affecting this - for example, for a given keyword in Adwords, when I run a google search, I see only 1 other advertiser (sometimes none). So I launch that ad group, but see that the position for my ad is sometimes 5th or 6th, which would seem impossible if I'm among 1 or 2 for that term.
