targeted adsense ads, a test
I have a dynamic site based on php. A couple of my dynamic pages require about 4 parameters passed on the url line.
I am having trouble getting targeted ads for this one. It has been showing PSA or my alternate ad when I load it. Here is the strange part. I copied the xyz.php file to xyz2.php and tested this file. It shows perfectly targeted ads every time. Why would this be? Both files are identical. I just copied one to the other. When I run xyz.php I get PSA ads and when I run xyz2.php I get perfectly targeted ads. Can anyone explain this? |

Ok, after a couple of refreshes it stopped displaying the proper ads. I found a document on the google adsense site that says it must have time to crawl the page. It may display PSA ads until it crawls.
Needless to say, I have been working on the Mod Rewrite to try to improve the results. Hopefully some of this will help |

I have read that certain words can cause PSA ads to display...lemme see if I can find that link...
It's off of this site: http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/internet/ebay-ads.htm Hah. That's a for fun page. The real link you need is here: http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/internet/google-adsense-words.htm G-Man

Thanks for the link. I don't have any of these words on my website.

Make sure the title and meta tags are relevant to what you want searched for. That might help.
I've done what you're trying to do and it doesn't show PSA ads. http://www.theofficialscoop.info/index.php?id=web+hosting change the keyword if you like. G-Man |

I put my keyword onto the end of the URL you supplied and it jumps to a whole new page
http://p2l.info/lx.php?q=ice+fishing and shows ice fishing stuff. I didn't put ice fishing for the keyword. |
