Question About Google's ADSENSE
Hi all
I just started a website called Objects Development http://www.objectsdevelopment.com about a week back. Someone suggested that I should apply to Google Adsense program and If i get accepted, I can display ads on my site and earn money if people click on those ads. The question I have is, since this site is only a week old, is it a good time to apply for this program or do I have to wait for a couple of months before applying. I dont want to get rejected. Please advice. Thanks Bill |

You have a nice layout and good content, I doubt Google will reject you at this point.
Age of a website has nothing to do with it, by the way - consider all of the established businesses that create brand new websites chock full of content on a daily basis.

thanks
Hey
thanks for appreciating the site. I usually do get criticism for the bad design, cant help it cos I'm only a programmer. Anyways good to know that google doesnt see how old the website is. So what does google see before they approve or disapprove a site. Does it depend on the number of visitors that visit the website. Lemme know Thanks Bill |

I can't see any reason why you would be rejected, but you should check their program policies, terms & conditions and FAQ first just to make sure you meet with all conditions:-
https://www.google.com/adsense/ One other thing you might like to know is that if you get rejected, you can apply with another website. Also, once you have the AdSense code you can put it on any of your websites that meet their conditions. Gringo. |

I don't work for Google, but I'd say content, design and layout. If you have a nice looking website that isn't trying to spam the Google SERPS - you will get the AdSense code. |

Unfortunately that isn't the only criteria. You won't get the code for search result pages, pages with competing content-targeted or text-based ads, non-English pages, personal pages, or pages with content including ecessive profanity, hate, violence, racial intolerance, hacking/cracking content, illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia , pornography, adult, or mature content, gambling or casino-related content, excessive advertising, pop-ups that interfere with site navigation or are for downloads (taken from the AdSense Program Policies).
