Hi Gabs,

Did you delete those keywords because:

a) They were underperformers anyway?

b) They were good performers, in your eyes, but the new minimum bid needed to activate them is too high?

c) Other, please explain.

Not much changed for the accounts I look after. A couple of bids had to be raised to a new higher minimum. Also I could add back in a few disabled keywords.

a good example was one k/w that tripled in price... It just wasn't worth it...

Most didn't change... a few up by 1/2p... But i'm very tight with adwords ... lol

I have a bunch of ads that are "disabled" due to too low of Max CPC. How do I set these to the minimum bid to activate them? I cant figure it out...

I know exactly what youre talking about- and I've deleted probably 100 words so far. And Ive Up-bidded probably 20 or so words. Its kind of a weird new system but I like it.

You like it. I think it sucks.
What it does mean bye activate your keyword by increase your quality of ad or cost?
How they decide you improve quality of ad?
Can any algo can do a fair job of comapring a quality of ad text-keywords and price ?

System ask to almost increase cost of some of my keywords to 300% and those keywords are generating few clicks a day.

I think this new system is to increase their revenue from low price keywords. That means their new system is not fair to advertiser. It seems google has no new ways for orgenic growth of revenues.

i don't see any changes in the adwords admin. were do you go to have your deactivated keywords set to minimum bid so they will reactivate? do i have to turn something on to do this? i don't see it...

You probably are not seeing it because all of your keywords are "active." You max CPC and CTR are high enough that they did not get deactivated with the change.

If you really want to see one of your keywords deactivated, set it's max CPC to $0.04. You will want to change it back once you are finished exploring.
