Need a PPC expert
Can anyone of you guyz take some time and solve my queries :
1. Google keeps inactivating my keywords and asking me to pay more. Is there a specific list of things I can do to avoding paying more? 2. Should I run my ads on "content targeted" sites? Why ? 3. How do I come up with good Non-English keywords for foreign markets? 4. Is it better to get a little traffic from expensive keywords, or a lot of traffic from cheap keywords? why? cheers

OK let me have a go...
>1. Google keeps inactivating my keywords and asking me to pay more. Is there a specific list of things I can do to avoding paying more? You probably need to pay more initially and then after time the bids or amounts you pay may come down. Make sure that the keywords are in the title and the description of the ad, and also on your landing page. >2. Should I run my ads on "content targeted" sites? Why ? Personally I don't let ads run on the content network. This is your call. If you do track this carefully. You can set up lower bids for ads on the content network. >3. How do I come up with good Non-English keywords for foreign markets? Have you tried translating some of your keywords and them putting them through one of the Overture keyword tools? >4. Is it better to get a little traffic from expensive keywords, or a lot of traffic from cheap keywords? why? It is best to get traffic from keywords that convert. Test, test and test again. Hope this helps! |

Google deactivates keywords based on ad text relevance and CTR - it's very simple; write better, targetted ads to improve your quality score and lower your maximum CPC (this should also improve your CTR) I think the first thing you need to do is read the adwords FAQ. And then come back with some questions related to your site. The answers to these general questions won't help you understand how to run an adwords campaign without reading adwords support docs As Sem4u says: The golden rule with PPC is that you need to test keywords/ad-text/targeting over and over to understand what motivates your target audience to convert. Once you know this, test some more to make it more effective |

Avoid paying Google
1. Yes, do research and come up with more targeted keywords that actually people search rather than sticking to general keywords.
2. A strict No… be there when your potential customer searching for you and not when he is no mood. 3. No idea. Perhaps you can do a research on the foreign markets and their people’s pattern. 4. Little but targeted traffic may yield great results. But I would always bet on the lot of traffic with cheap keywords. Because, you will still have more money left on your pocket for experimentation.
