Is google ripping me off?
I have a pretty huge difference between what google says are my clicks and what clicktracks says. I just started my first campaign last week. Here are my strange results:
Tuesday, August 31, 2004 - Monday, September 06, 2004 Google: 297 Clictracks: 211 That is a huge difference?? Any reason why?? I realize differences in their time and my log time are 4 hours. I also realize some clicks might not make it to my site but 86 is huge? This is at a cost of at least $32. Here is a one day example: Google: 58 Clictracks: 44 Can't be right?? Thanks everyone |

Good thinking Bill-Gates, this part of the forum is visited much more frequently. Sorry I don't have an answer, but one of the real pros probably does... Cheers

Another Silencer!
"This type of misposting"
What are you talking about? Looks like a legitimate question to me. What is it that you object to? Wrong forum? Taboo subject matter? Anti-Google comment? Not appropriate? It is an adsense question in the adsense forum. What's your problem? I just love forum posters who tell others to shut up. I guess he should have gotten your approval first. Lose the ego, you ain't the boss. Last edited by Surf-Dude : September 9th, 2004 at 11:42 AM. |

I've noticed that sometimes I have people click my link twice, back to back...google charged me for it on a lot of occassions...maybe the other company only counts clicks from a single ip...

Sorry
DD-
Here I go leaping to conclusions, again. I see what you mean. Looks like I should be the one to shut up. Just showing my hair-triggered intolerance of any perceived intolerance. Solution: Read more, yap less. Done. |

Do your stats include Google's partners like AOL and Ask Jeeves?
The time difference probably has an effect. Some people turn cookies off so they won't appear in the tracking stats. |

my google clicks come in under a number of referrers - even when I don't syndicate. Google directory, froogle, news.

How many times does Google AdWord count same clicks from same IP during the day?
