True Enough.

Everyone wants to make money

They probably also want to be able to distribute the wealth amongst several publishers.
A "webmaster" technically would have unfair advantages if they are competing with "newbie" types that are hoping to make an extra 20 bucks a month on a geocities webpage.

Well, either way... I still think Google wants to maximize the income to AdSense publishers... In the end, that income is directly correlated to their own income.

If Google didn't want you to make money, they would not keep adding features to it... changing ad colors, new banner formats, etc. They even have added things that are good for the publishers (and bad for Google)... like the ability to put your own ads up instead of public service announcement ones.

Plus, Google *want* you to use a single AdSense account for multiple domains (instead of breaking it up to different AdSense accounts). I think reporting per domain is coming, it's just a matter of time.

Do you think people are keeping an eye for the most searchable keyword or phrase to create website based on it ? If this is the case, a lot of sites would be to some extent similar to each other

Here is an observation.... ..

Adsense usually does not show on any of the computers in my office. However, if I am on the phone with anyone anywhere and they look at my site, the ads are always running properly.

Maybe they are blocking the ads to ips that are checking the stats. Don't know this for sure or even if they can do it... but it seems like what happens to me here.

This has been happening for me for the last week or so. Getting only 1 or 2 clicks for hundreds of views, and even a few days with 0. Seems like things arn't quite right.

The same is happening on my site too.
It seems that the adsense ads is not always showing, but it still counts the impressions...
I'm down to 1/4-1/5 of my normal click through rate now, been dropping for one-two weeks now..

I E-mailed google about it
This was their reply:

I have noticed you about my problem!!!

This has just started for several of our Adsense websites they are not being displayed on our office computers (same IPs) but are coming up OK on for other ISP customers. We have also seen a general decrease if the click through rate this last four days (a drop of around 50%).

It seems that all publishers experience a drastic drop of clickthrough rate. My case is that the impressions increase and the clicks won't go proportionately, so the clickthrough is lower than before and of course the pay will become less

This is not the problem here.
Ads are showing on both my home computer and my office computer. (but not always)

Several of my friends, who have visited my websites, also experience that the adsense box doesn't always show up.
But if they/I push the refresh button on the browser the ads pops up again...
Strange...
