So we run adsense and make a good amount from each click generated...
on the other hand, we also run the google search where you can also make money off the clicks. We get a good amount of clicks from the google search but each click is no more than 2 cents each time. Does Google have a standard payout for their search? You'd think you would get the same payout as if the clicked link were on adsense.... Does anyone know? Thanks -bbott |

You don't know what your visitors searched for, so it's rather hard to tell if the ppc ads on the SERPs pay out similarly to their equivalent AdSense ads.
I have not been impressed by the revenue performance of the search system.

If you get `adsense gold` or a similar programme it will tell you what keywords have been searched for.
I have it and i havent got round to installing it yet but i think it tells you quite a lot and its only about $70 i think. |

Yea, but when a user does search - the highest bid on keyword sites are going to appear first. THerefore no matter what they search for, odds are the payout should be atleast 50 cents or more. I'm only getting about 2 cents per search which is rediculous. I"m about to do away w/ the Google search - they give me no motive to use it if i'm gonna be paid pennies a day!!
