Google adword suspension - are pop ups bad??
Hi There,
quick question - one of my google adword campaigns was suspended b/c the main page of the website currently has a pop up window. I am in the process of removing the pop up window - but i was wondering if pop-ups hinder your SEO rankings in general? Anyone know?? |

The only information that I have for you is if the pop-up is in Javascript the seo friendly way to utilize it is to put it in an external file. Rather than have the code right in the page. That doesn't seem right that a paid service would drop your campaign because of how you built your site. I would be pissed.

That is pretty lame... assuming it's not a total spam looking site. They do have certain terms/conditions against it I think.
BTW, this post should be in the AdWords forum. - Shawn
