Google Advertising Professionals

Has anyone gotten qualified and started using the "Advanced Adwords Account"? Is it more than just being able to run multiple accounts from a single log-in.... Are there any good tools not available in the standard account?

Well I am the process of taking some tests and quizzes for the certification, taking the "express" route as I already know a good deal about it.

I think one of the best features about this new programs is the ability to assign clients and manage their billing. Before it wasn't so easy as you had to rely on third party platforms to performs this, or have an inhouse system to manage, which most major PPC management companies do have.

As for tools, I think the campaign management is probably the biggest offering. Plus the large amount of information about adwords everything from selling to your customers to invalids clicks all in flash movie format. I am guessing some of this info was what they train typical adwords reps on, and are now using the same info to train consumers. Nice step. Overture definately needs to invest in something like this.

3. Build and maintain at least US$1,000 total spend for your or your team's My Client Center account during the 90-day period.

Ouch, that bumps me out, lol... most I've spent with adwords was about $200 in a month

Yes, I am in the process toooo.....Let's see if/when I get it...!!

I'm 87 days away. I think all you get is a logo and the ability to tell potential clients that you are certified.
